Eight Week MBSR Online Course

Stress isn’t just a feeling or a mental state; if not addressed, it seeps into every aspect of our life. One way to cope with stress is through the practices learned in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an eight-week course on how to use mindfulness in daily life.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction allows us to identify early signs of stress and assists in changing habitual reactivity patterns. This course focuses on how to become more resilient and capable of responding to the inevitable stressors in our life including anxiety, chronic pain, or illness. Many participants report that after taking this MBSR course they experience a deeper self-awareness that allows for better self-regulation, new healthy responses when encountering stress, improved confidence, a greater sense of wellbeing, and a deeper appreciation for life.

8 Week MBSR Online Course

Join Angie for this eight-week training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. We will join virtually as a group weekly, including an all-day at home retreat. MBSR is an effective, scientifically tested method for reducing physical and psychological suffering while building resilience, well-being, balance, and peace of mind.

  • This MBSR Online provides intensive training in mindfulness meditation and its integration into the challenges and adventures of everyday life.

  • Through mindfulness we will learn to train our attention, cultivate deeper awareness and wisdom and pay attention to what is happening in our current life.

  • We will learn mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and yoga as well as have opportunities to explore patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling, and action.

  • Please be willing to make a strong commitment to attend all classes and to practice daily home assignments for eight weeks. This level of commitment will amplify your positive results.

  • A computer and high-speed internet connection are required. Mobile devices such as phones and tablets are not recommended.
